The group has secured five finalist places across four Surrey Care Awards categories: Home Care Provider of the Year, Excellence in People & Culture, Outstanding Leadership in Care, and Heart of Care Award: Unsung Heroes.
Barbara Baig, Group Head of Quality and Continuous Improvement, is a finalist for Outstanding Leadership in Care.
Live-in carers Jamil Iman and Katarzyna Nowicka are both finalists for the Heart of Care Award: Unsung Heroes, recognising their support for people to live well at home and remain involved in their communities.
Jamil has helped a client living with a brain injury continue enjoying football, outings and familiar routines. Katarzyna’s decade of advocacy has helped another client secure essential home adaptations, appropriate equipment and support to take a more active role in community life.
Organised by Surrey Care Association, the Surrey Care Awards celebrate “Compassion in Action” across Surrey’s adult social care sector.
Trinity has also been shortlisted for Employer of the Year at the Surrey Business Awards. The category recognises workplace culture, employee wellbeing and engagement, alongside a supportive working environment.
Simon Yeoman, Managing Director of Trinity Homecare Group, said:
We are proud to see our colleagues and teams recognised across both awards.
He added:
Good home care starts with listening to each person, understanding what matters to them and taking action to support the life they want to lead. Barbara, Jamil and Katarzyna demonstrate this commitment through their work.
He continued:
These finalist places also recognise the teams who support our care services and the workplace culture we build together. Thank you to everyone whose work has contributed to this recognition.
The Surrey Care Awards winners will be announced on Friday 6th November 2026. The Surrey Business Awards winners will be announced on Thursday 19th November 2026.
